The role

As the Social Marketing Director, you will be critical in building and scaling our social activities for user acquisition. You will create a strong media buying team, shape acquisition and optimization methodologies, manage digital marketing campaigns, and expand our efforts to additional social channels. Your leadership will be essential in positioning our company as a market leader and achieving our business objectives.

What you’ll do…

  • Build and Lead the Team: Manage the media buying team by providing mentorship and guidance, developing KPIs, and recruiting top talent to enhance team capabilities.
  • Develop & Execute High-Level Marketing Strategy: Create a growth plan and lead a comprehensive user acquisition strategy to drive purchases. Develop ongoing and timely campaigns that align with business growth goals and shape optimization and analysis methodologies to support revenue targets.
  • Vision & Expansion: Explore and initiate new social acquisition channels to broaden the company’s portfolio (e.g., TikTok, Native advertising).
  • Collaborate across Departments: Work closely with senior stakeholders from the data and product teams to meet business objectives. Invent and implement new initiatives based on departmental needs.
  • Hands-On Campaign Management: Manage META campaigns directly until the team is well-established.

What you have

Must-Have:

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 7+ years in performance marketing, with a focus on user acquisition on social channels (particularly META) or related roles within e-commerce in a global company.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in developing marketing strategies across social media channels that align with business objectives and are results-driven.
  • Industry and Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the affiliation industry; experience in e-commerce affiliation is a plus.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to enhance user acquisition strategies.
  • Leadership Capability: Experience in senior people management, with a track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
